Granada Hills Charter High School has 6 district titles and have won 4 national crowns in the National Academic Decathlon.

Granada Hills is known for its Mid-Century Modern style homes, sometimes referred to as California Modern. Balboa Highlands is known for Eichler built homes. Many of these homes are characterized by their low-pitched roofs, floor-to-ceiling windows, post-and-beam construction, open floor plans, and clean geometric lines. A large majority of Granada Hills homes for sale were built between 1950 and 1979. However, there is some new development from 2005 to present day. Most houses have at least 3 to 4 bedrooms. There are townhomes and condos available as well. Home prices range from $289,000 to $1,799,000.
